Tubman Heating’s quick response saves the day!
At Tubman Heating we understand that our clients have business critical systems which rely on quick responses from our team. As a result, we pride ourselves on our urgent call out services. Griffin’s Foods Ltd reached out about a broken down atmospheric boiler and we were on site immediately to get their hot water back in action.
We found a big crack on the side of the cast iron atmospheric boiler likely due to age and the heavy use to make their delicious chocolate.
Our initial response was to try repairing the boiler by welding, brazing, putty and flex sealing the crack. We understood the need to be up and running asap. But, because of the severity of the crack, it only managed to reduce the water leak.

With no luck in repairing the old atmospheric boiler, we wasted no time to source and install a new cylinder. The Rheem hot water cylinder was installed and running later that evening on the same day of the call from Griffin’s. The team also took care of removing/disposing of the old boiler, tidying up the site and communicating with the client in a timely fashion.
